Pictured above, This is easily one of my favourite relaxation spots in Kaltungo. The Club is situated atop a hill in the Sabon Layi area, offering a beautiful vantage point from which you can see parts of the surrounding town and landscape.

What makes this place special is the combination of natural and historical charm. The trees, rock formations, and colonial-era buildings within the facility create a unique atmosphere that feels both peaceful and nostalgic. It is an ideal place to relax with friends while enjoying the cool breeze that often sweeps across the hilltop.

Whether you are there for a cold beer or a refreshing non-alcoholic drink, one thing that keeps visitors coming back is the delicious isi ewu served there. The flavourful delicacy has become somewhat of a signature offering at the Club and is a must-try for anyone visiting.

2. JED Housing

Another favourite spot is JED Housing, located in Poshogondom between Kalorgu and Kulishin. The setting is quiet and serene, making it perfect for people who prefer a calm environment to relax.

Nestled at the foot of the Pan Mana Mountain, the location enjoys a picturesque backdrop of hills and natural vegetation. The relaxation area features charming open spaced huts with wooden tables and chairs that give the place a rustic, countryside feel.

In addition to the outdoor seating areas, JED Housing also offers rooms for lodging, making it convenient for visitors who may want to spend the night. The overall atmosphere has a warm, homely pub vibe that makes guests feel comfortable and welcome.

5. Green Ville

Green Ville is another hotel in town with a pleasant and comfortable relaxation area. The bar section includes open chalets where visitors can sit, relax, and enjoy food and drinks.

One of the highlights here is the variety of dishes available. They serve delicious pepper soup along with different meat and fish delicacies, making it a favourite spot for those who enjoy good local cuisine alongside their drinks.
